The Association Of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is recognised and respected as one of the top Professional Accountancy qualifications globally.  At Sunway College Ipoh, a Platinum Approved Learning Partner (ALP), we offer school leavers a pathway to acquire this prestigious Professional Accountancy qualification through a one-year CAT programme followed by the ACCA, both designed by ACCA of the United Kingdom.

ACCA Qualification

2 years (4 Semesters) with CAT qualification 
2½ years (5 Semesters) with Pre-University or other equivalent qualifications
1 year (2 Semesters) with Degree qualification

Examination
Paper-based in March, June, September & December

Entry Requirements
Minimum 5 Credits in SPM or other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government AND CAT qualification; OR
STPM / A-Levels with minimum 2 Principal passes AND SPM with minimum 5 Credits; OR
Pre-University qualification such as Foundation and Matriculation in related field with satisfactory result; OR
Related recognised Degree from approved University/Institution

Specific Requirement
Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) requires local students to possess a MUET with minimum Band 2 or an International English proficiency qualification in order to register for the ACCA programme.


 

 

 

Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Compulsory General Studies Subjects/Matapelajaran Umum (MPU) & Bahasa Kebangsaan Requirement

Malaysian and International Students are required to pass MOHE Compulsory General Studies subjects.  Additionally, Local Students who do not have SPM qualification or did not obtain a Credit in Bahasa Melayu at SPM, are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A.
