Chinese Independent School ECA - Undergraduate Scholarship

The Sunway College Johor Bahru Chinese Independent School Undergraduate Scholarship is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in academic and extra-curricular activities (ECA). It is based on academic merits and ECA performance of students sitting for the 2010 UEC examination.

This is Sunway College Johor Bahru’s inaugural CIS Undergraduate scholarship and we encourage potential applicants to be part of this momentous opportunity.

Entitlement

Successful candidate will be awarded 30% or 50% tuition fee waiver  for the Bachelor of Business programme in Sunway College Johor Bahru. (Applicable to February 2011 intake only)

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to all Malaysians or international students who are studying in the Chinese Independent Schools in Malaysia and sitting for the 2010 Unified Examination Certificate (UEC). The following requirements must be met:

1.  Currently hold or have held positions of responsibility in school or in extra-curricular activities such as sports, societies, clubs or uniformed bodies. Competition winners at various levels are encouraged to apply.

2.  Actual 2010 UEC examination results that meet our entry requirements*

2.  Bachelor of Business (major in Marketing)

Application Procedure

Obtain a Sunway Chinese Independent School Undergraduate Scholarship application form from your school counsellor or download the PDF application form. Complete the application form with the required documents:

1.  1 passport size photograph

2.  Certified True Copy of your actual 2010 UEC examination result;

3.  Certified True Copy of your IC

4.  Certified copies of relevant Extra-Curricular Activities & awards certificates.

by 5.00pm on Friday, 31st December 2010. Late applications will not be considered.

We encourage early applications to avoid missing out on this opportunity.

If you are shortlisted, a letter and an e-mail will be sent to you by early January 2011 stating the date and venue of your interview at the location nearest to you.

You will be required to attend an interview (in English medium) with the representatives of the scholarship committee by mid-January 2011.
