Sunway College Johor Bahru has been awarded a 4-star (Very Good) by
the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) through the
Malaysian Quality Evaluation System of Private Colleges (MyQuest).
MOHE has developed this system as an instrument to evaluate the
current performance of private colleges in Malaysia in terms of
students, programmes, graduates, resources and governance.
"There was massive documentation and I wish to commend all
colleagues and departments who were involved directly or indirectly
for their cooperation and assistance when the exercise was in
progress. Teamwork has brought us where we are today!" exclaimed
College principal, Hor Poh Choo.
Hor added that the rating will serve as a guide for students when it
comes to choosing a private college.
"We are not going to rest on our laurels. We need to live up to the
expectations of students, parents and members of the public.
Therefore, we will continue to consciously work towards improving
ourselves and the College so that we can achieve a higher rating in
the exercise, " continued Hor.
