The Inaugural Term for Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia begins on 16th January 2012

Sunway Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts commences with a 9-months Professional Certificate course which offers the students a choice of either French Cuisine or French Pastry, each of which includes a three months industry placement for international student only. The French Cuisine Certificate programme is in three parts. Firstly the Certificat d'Assistant provides a comprehensive introduction to classic French cuisine skills, and related aspects including techniques and terminology; the second, Certificat de Cadet, imparts an in-depth study of French regional cuisines, and related subjects; and the third, Certificat de Commi, examines the current evolution of French techniques and the mastery of classic and contemporary cuisines.

The Patisserie Certificate is also in three parts. The first, Certificat d'Assistant, introduces the essentials of creating French pastry, including the range of classic techniques. The second, Certificat de Cadet, develops among other aspects, artistic and decorative skills for both classical and contemporary presentations; and the third, Certificat de Commi, combines all the skills of the first parts and perfects them through individual interpretation.

Le Cordon Bleu MALAYSIA - FIRST SERIES OF WORKSHOPS

Sunway Le Cordon Bleu - Malaysia held a series of workshops from 9th November 2011 till 9th December 2011. This 2-months long series of workshops were conducted by our Technical Director of Malaysia, Chef Franck Bruwier.

These workshops were specially tailored as part of the efforts to introduce our inaugural Professional Certificate 1, 2 & 3 Programme at Sunway Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts commencing January 2012. Each workshop is conducted in our state-of-the-art kitchen, in small groups of 10 to 12, Chef Franck and his assistants personally attended to all participants. The workshops allow participants to expose themselves to hands-on experience while learning from the chef himself in the form of step-by-step guidance of French techniques and cooking.

The workshops also serve as an introduction to the set up and state of art facilities offered at Sunway Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts. Participants can take the opportunity to get a feel of what The Blue Ribbon cooking is all about and what it has to offer.

Feel free to call us for further enquiry and arrange appointment to view our facilities during office hour (Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, off for every Saturday, Sunday & Malaysia Public Holiday).
